KUNO biennale

The idea of the biennale is to bring together the starting artists and curators from the KUNO network in the Nordic-Baltic region - while they are still studying.

There will be a competition for the curatorial concept in every second year among the KUNO students (from curatorial or fine art curricula). Winning concept will be realized - and curator(s) can travel and see the studio works - evaluations - graduation shows of the art students of KUNO academies, to choose the participating art students.

KUNO Biennale would support and strengthen the Nordic-Baltic art scene, allowing the new generation of artists and curators to start their collaboration from early on, creating a strong network, sharing the ideas, practices, formats of contemporary art.
