About the course: Open call for 12 students who are interested in discussing the Northern Renaissance architecture in a Renaissance castle in Lithuania, to learn more about Italian Renaissance, about Renaissance in Lithuania and to present Renaissance peculiarities of your own country. The course consists of theoretical lectures, practical architectural in situ research, homework presentations and discussions.

The aim of the course is to discover the common and different features of the Northern Renaissance in different KUNO network countries.

To apply for the course, we ask you to prepare a presentation about the Renaissance architecture in your country.

Additional information: Lectures and discussions will take place in the Renaissance Panemunė Castle, which today is the museum and art gallery of the Vilnius Academy of Arts. There is also a hotel and a restaurant in this castle, where you will be offered accommodation with full board (a special rate is valid for the KUNO students).

Financial Support by KUNO:
Travel support between countries: 330 € (except 660 € to/from Iceland)
Subsistence per week: 100 €

Covid-related regulations: Students will be requested to present a vaccination certificate, a medical certificate, confirming the person has been recently (within the recent 6 months) diagnosed and recovered from the COVID-19 disease or have a negative Covid-19 test result (PCR valid for 72 h, Antigen - 48h).
