Course Description
The programme starts on 28 September at 11:00 and ends on 2 October at 4:00 PM.

On 28, 29, and 30 September, the KUNO course is dedicated to participation in the international seminar Art and Science – Processes, Systems and Histories of Entangled Knowledge, which will be held at the Vilnius Academy of Arts. The seminar is organised by the Vilnius Academy of Arts (Lithuania), the PASS Centre at the University of Copenhagen (Denmark), the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts – School of Visual Arts (Denmark), and the Umeå Academy of Fine Arts (Sweden).

The seminar will consist of 12–14 lectures exploring the relationship between art and science.

The lectures will address the relationship between art and science from a contemporary perspective, focusing on current developments in the arts while also examining this relationship through historical contexts. The topic will be approached from various philosophical perspectives, and several interdisciplinary art–science projects will be presented. In addition, scientific institutions that collaborate with artists will present their work and outcomes. Please see the attached PDF for the detailed programme.
